Many years ago I had a very cool “data processing” professor who told his class to cut 3 or 4 millimeters off the bottom of a check. The scanners couldn’t read the MICR so the checks had to be processed by hand, a great way to “kite” checks.

My ‘82 Caprice has the wholesuspension, rear end, upgraded control arms, etc. of the Impala SS, except the front control arms and knuckles which are from the police package Caprice with the larger ball joints.
