Fisher! Booker was George Clooney. The guy who played Fisher (Matt Roth) married Laurie Metcalf in real life!

Mark is dead and Darlene and David named their son after him.

Roseanne was on for 9 years and was in syndication forever. Goodman should have lived rather comfortably from it.

Entertainment Weekly said that Jackie and Roseanne will clash over the election. Jackie as the Trump supporter makes more sense to me, though.

I remember that show for effectively killing the post-WWE career of Joanie “Chyna” Lauer after losing terribly Joey Buttafouco; and on SNL, Amy Poehler was Tonya Harding and Rachel Dratch was Paula Jones, who identified herself a “stay-at-home actress.”

And the whole scene is about her not wanting to see a horror film because of the genre’s indifference to African-Americans but acquiescing to her boyfriend and then getting really into the movie and *enjoying a horror film*!

Interesting! I remember reading that cities with good liaisons/partnerships with their gay communities were doing this. Miami had posters made that weren’t distributed until two days after the murder.

I gleaned from the previews that Daya from Orange is the New Black is gonna be a cop or detective in Miami. HERE FOR IT.

I read it recently and don’t remember those final two angles being addressed at all. Her final hypothesis for a motive has nothing to do with HIV.

It was Dawson’s Creek and there was no true crime in that show, unless I missed the episode where Jen was murdered by her football star ex-husband and Jack went into prostitution and killed a fashion designer. Both seasons of ACS have been based on books that are feats of investigative journalism. There are a lot of

I was a gay kid growing up in Minneapolis when the crime wave started. It was kind of a mind-fuck for a 10-year-old who watched Hard Copy.

Because these stories are very layered and are about more than the horrific crimes that are on the surface.

The book is EXCELLENT and the Versace section is maybe about a fifth of it. It’s much more of a study of how police departments and the feds knew very little about gay communities in the ‘90s and how police departments from different cities and states REALLY don’t now how to cooperate with each other.

Ugh. I remember how awesome Jada Pinkett Smith was as the Drew Barrymore of “Scream 2" and THAT WAS 20 FLIPPING YEARS AGO.

Does Manhattan have a Target yet? I would think one near Kmart would kill it.

In Minneapolis there is a much-loathed KMart because it is built directly in the middle of a major street that has to redirect around it. People always wonder why we don’t just tear it down and open the street.

The historic Macy’s downtown Minneapolis closed last year because of this. They also stopped participating in local events. I worked there a few mornings at Sunglass Hut and all I did was give directions to the bathroom.

Sears is *still* an anchor store at the Mall of America and it blows my mind.

I am surprised by how stabby I feel about this, but the “poorly named” Cougar Town was a hilarious gem of a show.

I spent New Year’s Day 2017 in a psych ward. It got better. I know it will for you, too.
