About a year before her death, I became almost obsessed with her work. I listened to the audio commentary of “Julie & Julia”. I read “Heartburn”, “I Feel Bad About My Neck” and “I Remember Nothing” about 50 times. I’m a twentysomething male and yet her writing was so rooted in reality that it always spoke to me

Heartburn is one of those books I’ve read about 50 times. There’s parts of it that are just so ... hilarious and odd. Was group therapy really a big thing in the ‘70s? And one of them is a famous actress but they’re still not supposed to use last names in group.

Fear.

I would LIVE for that and then die of happiness after it was over.

I remember her appearing on MSNBC and she explained why Roberts voted to uphold the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) so much better than anything else I was reading or hearing.

Same. Had I been in the audience, my silence would have been because of that. I think she was in on the joke — as much as she could have been, anyway.

My brother dated a woman who was severely addicted. When she checked into the ER after a seizure, the doctor saw she had a prescription and his first question was, “How long have you been snorting your Adderall?” Scott may have been doing the same.

Angi used to be the female co-host on 101.3 in Minneapolis on the Dave Ryan in the Morning show. It was one of those weird times when he had a new female co-host every couple years, and they always had to be younger. She was funny and was able to go toe-to-toe with him, but I remember that show being DIRTY.

Kline would be the second Oscar winner (“A Fish Called Wanda”), even if the sentence implies she was only talking about female winners.

Erin Brockovich has been talking about this a LOT on her Facebook. She’s also talking up cities like Stockton, CA that have similar problems.

Ughh I love that song.

I think she genuinely loved Nick and that their marriage was the kind she wanted to have had in her twenties — vacations, happiness, and babies. Her marriage to Tommy was notoriously awful. Even ten years later, she wrote a song about it (“Side Effects”).

My friends and I enjoyed the show (it’s camp-tastic!), but I was a know-it-all and told them it probably wasn’t gonna have a second season because it cost a lot of money to make and it wasn’t doing well in the ratings. WHAT DO I KNOW.

I used to work at a store that had them for sale near the register “As seen on shark tank!” 1 in 10 commented on them. 0 out of thousands bought them. I thought about buying them to use in lieu of hemorrhoid wipes.

When I was 15, my friend and I met Cameron Mathison at Mall of America. We were both the only boys in a sea of horny soccer moms. HE WAS SO NICE IT WAS RIDICULOUS.

We had a class called “Independent Living” that culminated in our taking the bus from our first-ring suburb to downtown Minneapolis to the light rail to the Mall of America to IKEA across the street, where we would pretend to be buying, within our budget, the essentials for our dorm room that we had picked out from

My dad is a tax preparer. We had a Home Ec-style class in high school and he came in to talk to us about how to file your tax return, what a W-2 was, et cetera. Now I am almost 30 and should probably learn how to do them by myself because the man is not going to be working forever. (I’ve had the same job for several

Yep. I have no fine motor skills and was equally horrible at welding AND sewing, but damn if I didn’t take both.

I was in third grade and took a class poll before the verdict was announced (the lunchladies ended up telling us).

Cusack was nominated for WG, too.
