As others have stated a single stop isn’t the same as overlapping. The stops have cooldowns and a single stop really isn’t worth much. Now if they overlap you won’t run out of Pokeballs and the lures that overlap provided hours of catching. While a single lure gives you so much down time it is boring even with a lure.

That has to be a ton of foot traffic to kill the grass that quickly. It is nothing but a mud pit anymore!

This does not surprise me at all and while I do argue that in some cases they should remain because it still brings people in to engage with history. There are some cases where it does disturb the serene environment they are going for and can cause damage to the area. The area which contains priceless history.
