This was the first episode of the series that felt like an absolute chore to get through.

The best part of this season for me was Svetlana becoming more of an actual person rather than just playing the role of crazy foreign chick.
Over the last half of the season there were moments when a large part of the cast were together with her in the background with a tiny smile that I really enjoyed.

I was convinced Julian only existed in Norman's mind because until the fight at the strip club it seemed like only Norman acknowledged him but obviously I was wrong once again.

So Fiona and Sean are engaged and because Fiona can't be happy for more than 3 episodes in a row and because Dermot Mulroney is still billed as a "special guest star" I can't stop wondering how this will all blow up before the season is over???

What a difference a week makes.

I honestly can't explain it.
I've talked to 3 different people about the show today and of course mentioned it and they all laughed but then asked "how is that possible?".

I'm 40yrs old.
Have watched Psycho countless times.
Have watched every episode of this series.
Like to think I'm a genuine fan of both.

I have to admit I've turned a corner in a way with Kenan.
3 or 4 seasons ago I was baffled by him still being there but now I'm just impressed and figure more power to him.

With an election cycle that is already just flat out bat shit crazy SNL should be must see appointment viewing right now.

I've enjoyed the season so far but admit that aside from the performances (minus god awful Travolta) there's been a layer of cheese and goofiness that's kept the show from being great rather than just pretty good at times.

I completely forgot about that line and that's why I keep waiting for him to pop up but now realize that's not going to happen.
If him wanting out is the reason they've completely shut the door on his return like this is true it is pretty damn petty.
Kind of like on Justified where everyone who went to jail ended up…

Did he ask to leave the show or was this the plan all along? I keep waiting for him to be released for some reason but after the first episode he's only been mentioned and not shown.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that there's even a argument to made about whether Daily Fantasy is gambling.
If you're paying money to play and there's a chance you can win more money or lose the initial payment that's gambling plain and simple.

I think the show is extremely well written and acted but I thought this episode was rather corny.
I hope now that we've gotten through the episodes Murphy directed the cheesy aspects will fade away.
