Remember when Metallica wouldn't make music videos back in the early days of MTV because they didn't want to be sellouts and corporate schills???

From now on when I hear that song I can guarantee I'll hear "creature" instead of the proper lyric.

Hotel California "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave."

On another show with a lesser cast Travolta's performance would kill the whole thing for me.
He probably thinks he's really killing it but he's just doing a terrible impression.

Yeah, a couple times during the episode I picked up a Fincher vibe.
Maybe it's because I just watched Zodiac again the other night (for the millionth time) but a lot of the shots and blocking reminded me of it.

I was sorta hoping the Grammys would go really big and have a few different performers do something throughout the show.
3 or 4 songs spread out through the telecast with one big number at the end.

My love of all things Lauren Lapkus knows no bounds.
The only CBB episodes I've listened to more than once are the episodes she's on, especially when Ho-Ho appears.
I've even sat through that show Clipped (I think that's the name??) for about 3 episodes just because she's in it.

I usually try to give a new show 5 episodes before I bail, especially an hour long drama. That's plenty of time to get a feel of the premise and characters but I could barely finish this episode.
I can usually find something or someone to keep me invested but I fucking hate everyone on this show.

Stupidest Thing I Believed For A Long Time?

I realize it's not a proper way to do it but a while back I played around with the color and contrast will watching Shutter Island and now wish there was an actual release of the movie that way.
I've done it a few other times but that was only time I thought it actually changed my thoughts of a movie.

I just can't get behind the love for New Nightmare. Great concept and ideas but a complete bore and uninspired IMO.
Usually around spring I rewatch the series every year and that is the hardest to get through and sometimes I'll just skip it all together. At least Freddy's Dead is one of those "so bad it's good"

Somebody please find Jimmy Page and even if he doesn't need it start monitoring his vitals right now!!!
I can only take so much.

Usually when a celebrity passes I roll my eyes when I see the "celebrities react" headlines on certain sites. I can't explain why but they always seem tacky to me.
That changed today because since waking up to the news I've been seeking out these articles.

Oh boy, I hope Steven Adler gets a shot at this.
That dude has had a rough go of it and it would suck if he was left out.

Jessica Jones was a success IMO despite all the Dexter alumni on staff.
Hiring the guy who oversaw one of if not thee worst final seasons of television doesn't give me much hope.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this is bull shit because as we all know Simon didn't even write this song. It was written by the futer president of NBC and microwave innovator Jack Donaghy.

I could be (and probably am) wrong but I could swear I read somewhere that was Lucas's recommended way of watching.
So after not seeing them since their release I figured and hoped that maybe it would improve on my opinion of them.
It. Did. Not.

The only legitimate praise I have for the prequels are that they look great on Blu-ray.

Yeah, I finished it but I have never been so gut punched by a movie.

It sure did and thank you.
I completely forgot Kevin had a son and even as I'm typing I remember it was a stepson.
