Are you suggesting that backing up your argument with evidence supporting it is somehow less convincing than not backing up your argument at all? What else would you suggest? Personally I'm okay with Jalopnik staff being "on the train" of any company that makes cool cars.

As defined by Webster's dictionary, pedantic means "narrowly, stodgily, and often ostentatiously learned." I agree with the point you were trying to make, but my point is that pedantic clearly does not mean what you think it means.

"pedantic shit"? I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Maybe it's a side effect of living outside of the rust belt in Texas but I see all of these (especially 300ZXs and first-gen Tauruses) everywhere. It seems many of the 300ZXs have been converted into dorifto beaters but they're definitely not rare by any means.

it's AWD bro I don't need snowtires.

That's fine, and I'll agree it's egregious, I just don't think it was intended to be racist as you seem to. I'm still confused as to what led you to suspect it's hidden meaning, though. So far as I can tell, most "ethnic" hair is not wavy so I don't understand how their crusade against the wave could be construed as

What in the email tipped you off to this perceived racism? Or was it just your preconceived assumption that sorority girls must be prejudiced because they're in a sorority? Not everything has to have a hidden malicious meaning, you know.

Maybe I'm mistaken but isn't most ethnic hair curly as opposed to wavy? I do think you're over-reaching. They said curly hair or straight hair is okay, I think it was more of a "make sure you look like you've spend 3 hours getting ready" type of thing.

I've noticed an abundance of Teslas as well, actually. They're all over the metroplex, too. I agree that it's strange that they would be so popular when you have to basically order them sight unseen and have them shipped here. After having lived here a few years I think Dallas could give most other cities in the

Dallas/Plano/Frisco still counts as a big city with lots of supercars though, which is what I'm assuming they were getting at. I've gotten so spoiled living in the Shops at Legacy, it's become almost commonplace to see Lamborghinis and Ferraris driving though the area.

you must be new aro...

oh. Never mind.

Using any kind of navigation system other than a co-driver in this car is heresy, in my opinion.

.....

Texan here. 10/10 would rock daily.

TVR Sagaris. You'll always have some kind of headache to write about, but damn will it be worth it.

In some parts of Texas you can do 90 mph and only be 5 mph over the speed limit. Not sure how relevant that is to your statement but it's something

Does anyone else get kind of an RX-8 vibe from this? Maybe it's just the headlights... Either way, it's a stunning car.

So your theory is that we're going to stop using electricity altogether within the next 100 years? Barring an apocalypse situation (in which what cars are on the road will likely be the least of our worries), I find that idea a little farfetched.

Yeah I had them disabled on my iPhone but haven't gotten around to it since I switched back to android. I guess I understand wanting to cast a wide net, but when most of the cars are as anonymous as a gold Explorer with Texas plates, it's kind of like finding a needle in a haystack.
