What evidence do you have to back that up? HAAS was one of the most successful startups ever. The last two years sucked pretty bad, but we would have to dig into some pretty pointed details to explain why. Grosjean is a huge reason why. Also, stupid timing of crew errors ruined what could have been some stellar

I’d settle for Ferrari letting Ferrari win something.

What’s the point? The point is racing!

It’s really nice that they don’t look like wheels inspired by crummy takes on ninja shurikens or Rockstar energy drink logos that seem to be all the rage in aftermarket Jeep and truck wheels.

“Hey, what if we DIDN’T completely destroy our SUV street cred, given that those are literally the only vehicles besides trucks we sell any more? What if instead we created the most hyped vehicle since the Suzuki Jimny, which no one can even buy in America?”
“...Only if we also build a soft-roader that we can sell to

I think it’s more like the Bronco Sport is the Bronco they know they can sell, but using the name on a crossover would get bad press. The Bronco standard is the Bronco they know will get good press. So they just made both and problem solved.

You can bet your ass they designed something to compete next to the Blazer then some intelligent person stepped in.

I think Ricciardo is just doing whatever he can until he actually has a car that gives him a chance of podiums again next year.

Cant wait for Ferrari to get a secret deal with the FIA while others get punished for reporting the conduct.

Or cap the budget, but relax the rules.  You can spend your budget of X millions on whatever technological innovation you want.  F1 just needs to look at MotoGP and learn how to run a race series.

Why would they WANT to stop copying? If anything it brings more parity to what is usually a boring parade. Here’s how you fix the problem: tell Renault to shut the f*ck up and build a faster car. Lance freaking Stroll is kicking their ass.

I have an alternative hypothesis-

Oh. Come on. An electric Vega could be cool.

He’s had shoulder issues for years. I just want a couple more good years for him to cement his legacy.

As incredible a magician as Marquez is, like all right-thinking racing fans, I desperately want someone to knock Marquez off his throne, cheering him to victory is like cheering the house in Vegas, it’s just not any fun.

Not so with the EB engines.

I also much prefer the clutch off road compared to a torque converter. I can feel exactly what’s happening when I’m engaging the clutch in the gear I’ve selected whereas with the auto you just kinda push the gas and wait for something to happen. Especially with the super low crawl ratios, stalling really isn’t a

It’s more fun to some people, including me. Wheeling doesn’t need to be about optimization or ease-of-use. It’s an inherently illogical hobby, after all!

So, a less addictive maple syrup then?

Acura in the front, Alfa in the back.
