Still great looking, but really they had me at “Modern engine + M/T”

I think a better title would be “The Grille Isn’t the Only Problem”
Adrian van Hooydonk makes Chris Bangle look like Michelangelo
I remember when my wife and I were looking into some possible SUVs to replace our aging van and the X5 seemed to meet a lot of our wants but then I saw they were charging (!) a monthly fee to enable Apple CarPlay. I had to dismiss the car out of principle. I think it was only $8 a month or something but it was…
100% absolute bullshit. Charging a subscription fee to use the features built into your car is terrible. One of the worst trends in the past decade is everything moving to a subscription model where you’re nickled and dimed for everything you want to do.
We already have DLC and subscription fees, and “bricking” for unauthorized content, can exclusive feature “loot boxes” be very far behind?
I hope someone sues and is successful enough that it dissuades other companies from trying these bait and switch shenanigans going forward.
(Waits patiently for the 1st “crack” to come out of Eastern Europe).
“Install this software on your car, and supercruise is free FOREVER!”
I do not like this trend towards microtransactions on car features.
I’m an interior engineer for Ford and based on what I’m seeing, it’s still all new tooling and work for just about every interior panel. Each surface has been modfied, which basically means that you have to go through the design process again with only a few shortcuts. The only things that are staying are the hard…
It’s all opinion, and mine is this is the best looking Nissan car ever. The grill could be cut in half, not with the blade, please, and a ducktail is a must, but all in all, it’s looks great. Nissan should get extra credit just for not making it look like an angry bug as almost all cars and CUVs do now.
What the fuck are you going on about?
As I’ve already mentioned numerous times to plenty of people. The original 240z, 260z, and 280z were all nearly identical cars, with emphasis on a bigger motor. Most of the cosmetic changes were negligible.
The 350z, 370z, and new Z are all clearly following that same path. The new…
ompletely agree. The new Z is a gorgeous take on a sports car. I love the way it looks. And I hate the new Supra - Toyota could have done supra just using the IS platform with it’s own turbo 6 that’s more powerful. Nissan - did this far better than Toyota. Not even close. And I’m a toyota guy, so no homerism here.…
Plus, I’d rather take a new Z that’s secretly an old Z rather than a new Supra that’s secretly a BMW Z4.
Nice to see a car design that isn’t completely dominated by fake vents.
Seeing the Z and the Supra side by side really makes it obvious that the Supra is a bit of an overwrought mess. The Z is refreshingly simple and straightforward. I don’t care if it is a heavily reworked 370z. I like it.
This is the most exposed HRC has been in their entire history, I think. And yes, I keep yapping about it all season, but it’s true. Honda has no other “great” rider other than him, at a time when even KTM and some satellite bikes have legitimate contenders rising up and proving their worth.
i watched the race in jerez, and watching him chew up the field after going off the first time is one of the more compelling things i’ve seen in motorsports. however, just because you can ride a bike with a broken arm, doesn’t mean you should. my hat’s off to an amazing talent, and i can’t wait to see what he can do…
I see what you’re saying, but choosing to pose for a risqué photo at 25 does not mean that’s the only thing that should define you when you’re 38. Even more overtly sexual professions like, say, nude modeling or burlesque dancing, don’t mean that those women should be treated sexually in other situations that don’t…
Tony “killed a guy with his car at a dirt track” Stewart is ready for things to move on and get back to normal? Lol color me shocked
