If you owned one, what would be the first modification you’d make, if any? Would stickier tires improve the experience significantly?

Why do you think every state seems to have different rules about these sort of things?

What great “cotumer sevis”.

This one’s Canadian!

Is passing etiquette like this common on European days? The events I go to are very strict about point-bys and I feel much safer for it. It turns the drive into something marginally more enthusiastic than a nice country backroad.

“She’s built like a steakhouse, but handles like a bistro.”

That’s when you drive across the street and “christen” the rear tires with a nice fat burnout on the other dealer’s lot!

That is one of the most preventable accidents I think I’ve seen in a very long time.

Love the one about Lenny. I hope one day I can a little more successful than my age shows so that I can go into a dealership and really see who wants a sale haha.

In that case, carry on, good sir!

Paging McMike!

I don’t think i would pay as much as the study determined, but I think I’d consider paying more for passive safety features than active ones. I’d rather be able to do the avoiding myself than to have beepers and warnings every time I corner a little fast or something.

Considering your detailed explanation last time that the H1 is narrower than a current full sized pickup (with mirrors!), their size argument is basically moot. Don’t back down, Doug!

The real answer is that it probably doesn’t matter what you bring. The people whose opinions matter to you will probably already know what you drive, and the rest of the people probably won’t look at the parking lot.

Tom do you think it would be any different if you had walked in to buy a car from the lot (rather than order and wait)? Also stories like this are why I like to continue using dealerships that I’ve had good experiences with.

This question is interesting because there’s no car that has raced in every high level racing series. If one car wins 60% of its races but another wins 70% of their races in a smaller series, who’s better?

That’s the same speed limit Top Gear used when they drove through Nevada in the LFA, Aston and Viper.

I'm trying to think how that would work without the extension. Do you think the extension is just a threaded rod that I can find in a shorter length? How else might you join the bottom ball to the thread adapter?

This is a cool article, I can't wait to try it out. I ordered one of these just now, so I'm interested to see how it handles a DSLR with 18mm kit lens (but then I'll try the GoPro instead)
