There was a report last week that, like The Root, Fusion is getting rolled into Kinja. I am guessing there will be a new political vertical here soon, either as Fusion itself or a rebranding of Fusion, and including some Concourse/Slot writers. Ashley’s disappearance as of late makes me guess she is a big part of it.

So, can we expect something like The Concourse to be its own thing anytime soon? Maybe a dedicated society and politics blog? I’m only asking because it seems like it’s a subject that warrants some kind of focus.
