My dad had MS - the kind that was mostly in remission thankfully, it’s one of those things many people never come into contact with so it’s not as well known.

Exactly what I needed to hear after yesterday. I think it’s equally important not to focus on the moments of pain you suffer in the end and instead focus on the enormous hours of love and happiness that preceded it. It hurts like hell in the end, but it generally pays off in growth.
