CEDU didn’t run Provo per se, but Provo (and many other schools like it) is run by people who had been affiliated with CEDU. The troubled teen industry (TTI) is almost entirely a de-facto network descended from Synanon but the programs operate independently - which makes them harder to kill.

If you’re turning onto a road (ie from a parking lot or low-traffic area onto a busier street) and there’s one single car on that road, do not sit there and watch them come down the street only to pull out at the exact moment your cars become perpendicular. I don’t care if they’re in the left-most lane of a six lane

That’s not true though. They were on the boys team the season prior and had only transitioned socially, not medically.

You’re a sociopath and that’s a terrible idea.

ADHD would probably not be protected by the ADA.

The bridge is a great example of Andrew Cuomo’s particular brand of bullshit. He renamed a bridge that didn’t need renaming after a politician who didn’t want anything named for him. Total coincidence that it’s his father, of course... Expensive, vain bullshit that serves no one but himself.

A bit late, but the word you’re looking for is pathologize.

That imposing, official looking building across from the Kremlin is a shopping mall. Watch for pickpockets.

I only spent about a day in Moscow (layover coming back from Slovenia) but I was hell-bent on seeing St. Basil’s, so we pretty much just went from SVO to Red Square and back. Not many opportunities to travel to a major, distant city so cost-effectively. 100% worth it - it was absolutely stunning in the early evening

My first Janelle Monae experience was years ago, when she was opening for of Montreal. (2009?) I was right up front and even from a bit of a distance with stage lighting and presumably a bit of makeup, her skin looked so dewey. She just glows in more ways than one. It was obvious she wasn’t going to be an opener for

Genie’s story truly is heartbreaking, and the whole story has so much tragedy. It was just a perfect storm that ended by total chance. I hope that wherever she is now, she’s doing okay - at least in whatever sense that’s possible for her.

You can survive - in the sense of continuing to live - without adequate affection, but it’s not pretty. Look into how the children from Romanian orphanages have fared.

If you haven’t yet, watch House of Yes as soon as possible.

I once won a fencing bout before even putting on my mask because of bs like this. It was a mixed tournament and some douche pulled this shit on me. The director was having none of that shit and black carded his ass.

Shake it once, that’s fine. Shake it twice, that’s okay. Shake it three times, you’re playing with yourself.

Third parties, basically. My boyfriend’s great-grandmother was murdered when she tried to intervene in what became a murder-suicide. I imagine friends and family make up the bulk of that remainder. Sadly, probably a lot of children. (I assume these stats are only humans, but pets would be up there too.)

That seems highly unlikely.

Go across the street to Park Place Pharmacy. So much better. Chain pharmacies are the worst.

If I was going to publicly burn a flag, it would be a towel. Watch people get up in arms about something that you put between yourself and the sand when you lay out, use to dry off after a shower, clean up a spill.

Revolution Books! Revolution Books is great. They used to be on 26th and 6th or so but I think you can figure out what happened there.
