Nostagia is a helluva drug.

Counterpoint: The class “customization” of the previous 2 xcom games was too simplistic to enjoy. Doing more than hitting “Random” until you get something unoffensive is a waste of time. Backstory and detailed story-based lore and such placed out of the “main” loop of gameplay may as well not even exist.

You should’ve included the SciFi version characters and aesthetic. It did wonders with a miniscule budget, and really does deserve more love.
