Shit, just reading “Better Son/Daughter” makes me tear up. It's one of my guaranteed cry songs. And unfortunately my cry playlist is way longer than my happy one

Thank you for reminding me about Scarlet Empress! It was my fall lipstick go-to a couple years ago, until my best friend told me she hated it and thought it was “overkill.” However, she's not my friend anymore and I KNOW I rocked that shit, so I'm gonna dig it out tomorrow!
Yes! I think I really fell in love with his character when Tristan said he’d googled him, and he said “That sounds obscene!” It was perfection.
Probably not, she just wanted a shiny new plaything.
The only reason I can think of is because he can help her with her plot to marry Will Drake? Maybe? Idk. I'm digging his Rufio hair though.
What does it say about me that I've never been so attracted to Evan Peters as when he's an old timey serial killer?
I love this story. My Memaw died 9 years ago and a couple years ago, right before thanksgiving, I had a dream that I was at her house helping set the table, and I could smell both her and the house. She wouldn't hug me, but I still felt so comforted.
I mean, the units were huge with hardwood floors and dirt cheap rent (think like $500 a month for 700-800 sq ft) but ya know, the ghosts are a pretty big trade off. Hahaha
I do too! What’s really weird is that I had another friend living in the other side of the duplex, which is how I’d found out about the vacancy, and her unit had a totally different floor plan and I never felt anything weird over there. It had clearly been an early 1900s house split in half later on so it was weird…
A lot of it could be explained away, but some things couldn’t and I didn’t feel bad vibes in either location, so I think if it really was ghost related it was probably the abuela!
Yesterday I went to lunch after church with my family and the pastor and wife of the church my brother is interning at. The pastor picked up the check, and I noticed he spent a long time writing on the merchant copy. I sincerely hope he didn't just scrawl a bible verse and left our overworked server an actual tip!
I really love this story, and I'm glad your fiancé was able to make peace with his friend.
Ouija board stories totally freak me out. My mom always warned me to never use one because of a bad experience her friend had a teenager and I listened. I still have a story though!
I love retail ghost stories! I worked with the same manager at two different stores, different companies and malls, and we had weird shit happen in both of them. Things out of place at opening, racks of clothes swaying back and forth for no reason, etc. He was convinced it was his abuela following him around and…
I love Vonnegut but I don’t think I’ve read that one. I’ll have to look it up! I don’t really believe in heaven either but I love different concepts of it.
I read a book a long time ago (maybe The Lovely Bones?) where each person has their own version of heaven, and I think that's a nice idea. My grandpa was madly in love with his first wife, who died in a car accident when my uncle was a toddler, and my grandma, who he was with for over 50 years, always worried about…
Me too. Like most of my clothes aren't baggy enough to accommodate a fake belly underneath them, so were guests allowed to wear the fake bellies over their clothes? Or because it's Kanye it was tough shit, your clothes are getting stretched out?
Making a mental note to use these lyrics the next time I jam Jay in my car.
I was at a gas station when Lorde’s “Royals” was inescapable and overheard a probably 6 year old girl belting out “You can call me green beeeeans!” I made eye contact with her dad and we both died laughing.
Yeah... That line really stuck out to me.
