I’ve already pre-ordered this the moment Nintendo announced it here in Japan, and I don’t regret it at all. Actually, this news makes me even more excited! It’s like getting a larger amiibo of the original Famicom, except I can actually play games off of it!

I was thinking just that... they could make some side money just documenting how things come apart, without spilling any of the profit-generating data. Might even doc how things go back together for a bonus (though that’s an entirely different beast, really).
