Tell them it plays Final Fantasy, but never say which. Then give them Chrono Trigger instead and never tell them it’s not actually Final Fantasy.

Lore-wise, that’s actually not too far off. The simulations they run are mostly done in good fun, or at least with enough trust that they can deal with real-world conflict together even if they’re from different units.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been more of these...officially, at least.
