It’s a gimme, sure, but I still detest this take mostly because it seems as if Toyota got served beer in a glass. Toyota’s faults are theirs, and they got over that. Is it their fault that the line to the keg got easier? No. Does the beer still taste like the absolute best? Yes.

Comparing Toyota to Mercedes is a massive stretch because Mercedes won almost all the time. Toyota only won once. It’s an indictment against Toyota’s skill, but I struggle to compare this win to an entire F1 season.
