Hey Richard. I grew up in a forestry family but never had the chance to operate a TimberJack. How hard is it really to fall a tree with that thing? How much of your trouble was TV editing?

Yep. It's late in the day but I think you're the winner winner chicken dinner.

Not a waste of time debate. Trust me, I'm a bike-commuter and a ski partroller. I see the carnage of helmetless riders and skiers fairly regularly.

That's not stupid. That's cultural reality and poverty. I've been in tons of developing nations and trust me, helmets and protective gear among the general population are not a priority.

Don't feed the troll.

Prius

And, thus endeth the discussion.

Not too much weight. This (in the link) is Brodie's Romax cyclocross bike. With disc brakes and the slightly wider 'cross tires, the whole rig is 22lbs. That's not too bad given that they purpose built the frame for cyclocross and didn't just use a superlight road frame.

I don't understand what that means, but someone should probably tell Morpheus.

Once again I have to take issue with slagging the Smart Car. The model that you are talking about - the one that was made available in the States - is a different car than the rest of the world enjoyed for years.

Hard call. Cycling does release details and the IOC sure as hell does. I think FIFA does but I'm not completely sure on that. These sports and events are followed by entire continents of people though. Cycling and soccer are more popular worldwide than NASCAR and the Olympics are the biggest revenue generating

Hiya Gamecat. As a fellow Hop Head, I'd like to award you this amazing IPA from The Snake River Brewing Company in Jackson Hole. It's one of the best I've ever had. Really big citrus flavours, lotsa bite and a really clean finish.

Make it more convenient. I love the idea of public transit and when I lived in Vancouver all my commuting was on the bus and SkyTrain. Here though, our transit system is way too convoluted to get anywhere efficiently.

God, watching the GM marketing department speak to the youth market, is like watching my Dad dance at a wedding with the "young folks."

oops. Yep, was trying to respond to DCMG.

Agreed. It's desolate once you get much north of, what, Westlock?

Agreed. And, they could create a regional hub in Red Deer to pick up Central Alberta guys and you're good to go.

Dude, I'm 41 years-old, with no preconceptions about who I am, have no hint of a mid-life crisis and my wife and I have a decent combined income.

Is it bad that I read the headline and my first thoughts were "Please be Florida, please be Florida."?
