I can’t believe I didn’t think to check of Cal Poly Pomona sold seedlings. In previous years, I’ve gone to the Cal State Fullerton sale, but find it to be pretty hit or miss, depending on the year. I ended up giving starting from seed another go this year.

Ah, springtime! I just put four tomato seedlings (2x Early Girl Hybrid 2x Jubilee) in my raised bed, and plopped marigolds and alyssum around the edges. Once I harvest the last cabbages and Swiss chard on the other side, I’ll fill it with peppers and herbs.
