I agree with you. I find myself thinking “Sandler is a really funny guy”, but not finding many of his movies funny. When he’s just joking around and being himself, he’s very charming and funny. His comedy albums still have some hilarious sketches on them (talking goat, medium pace, Fatty McGee).
