I know you’re saying it as a joke, but electric cars are worse by many aspects than gas cars. A disk brake is undeniably better than a drum.

Wait, what car are you using for the amount of energy it uses? What distance are you using for miles/yr? Are you taking into account that most cars are less efficient in the real world (not smooth drivers, bad roads, traffic, stomping the gas sometimes, not ideal temperature)?

Which would be a problem if they were all recharged during peak hours. Most people will charge overnight at home, when there is spare capacity on the grid.
