The cops aren’t pushing the ‘blacks are thugs’ imagery, nor do they need to. Blacks being responsible for over half of all homicides despite being 13% of the population takes care of that imagery nicely.  It’s a little old but still valid.  

Disband police unions, they’re useless and only protect bad actors, just like all unions do.  If they won’t disband, fire the entire police force and start from scratch with non-union police.  State police can suffice in the meantime while that’s being setup.
