What does Target or AutoZone need to do to equal this response?  Asking stores to stop advertising something that might have something to do with police is pretty damn close to nothing.  They can still sell those things and Lego still profits.

You almost HAVE to have a property manager when you live on the other side of the country. He may not want to use one at all.  Also they don’t cost that much, 10% of rent or so.

Honestly it prolly wouldn’t cover you because any damage or issues would have happened as a result of breaking the law.  I have no opinion on this matter BUT he’s aiding and abetting criminals who are out after curfew, which is breaking the law.  

You’re obviously not a landlord.  As a landlord myself (I don’t use property mgmt companies) I can tell you that if you DO use a manager you NEVER contact the tenant yourself.  In doing so he was truly trying to reach out and talk to him - man to man - rather than coldly through some property manager.
