The shower rod isn’t really “over” the tub though, it’s above the very outer edge of it. Meaning that about 50% of a coat on a coathanger would be just hanging over your bathroom floor and dripping all over it.

Protip: Only do this if you have a permanent shower rod that’s screwed into the wall and not the type that is held up by pressure alone.
