I just realized that this is an old article that got bumped that I am replying to and now I fell dumb. Sorry folks.

I have always enjoyed IGN’s NVC podcast.

I made a very detailed diet plan a couple of years ago. Well balanced according to everything I could find about nutritional needs, and I carefully calculated the calories. I did lose weight, and at a very healthy rate of one to two lbs a week, but the diet was unsustainable. I hit a wall at 250 lbs where I couldn’t

I have worked with some very hormonal men. I don’t understand why men don’t get scrutinized about this like women do. Obviously not all of them, but for the worst ones it’s every day of the year until manopause.

Kotaku posted this yesterday:

He just needs to be pro whatever issue people care about most and they will reject everything negative said about him as fake news

I suspect if there was a real Jesus today people would think he was a liberal hipster. He paid his taxes and said bleeding-heart liberal stuff like the meek shall inherit the earth.

The japanese voice acting is all squeaky screaming if the latest trailer is any indication. It looks like a super cliche 90s anime. Which I haven’t watched for a while, so... I might enjoy it. One in every few years is acceptable.

Censorship is bad!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!

Jimmy Kimmel has been a surprise. Now I can remember which Jimmy is which!

The Daily show campaigned hard to get the Zadroga Act permanently renewed. It provides healthcare and compensation to first responders.

Oops!

Gap has higher quality, more expensive jeans as online exclusive, which is baffling to me.

You are right but your are missing the psychological trick. Once you pick up the T and try it on you are much more likely to buy. The longer a customer holds an item, the more they are willing to pay for it, that’s a fact.

T shirts sell ridiculously well but are also super easy to steal. So it makes stores want to sell cheaply made Ts in high volume. They will say $70 but they will always be at least 40% off. They cost almost nothing to make, they’re not much of a loss when stolen, and the high profit margin goes a long way towards

Fellow Canadian, I have always wondered if Americans would complain less about Thanksgiving if it wasn’t so close to Christmas. It gives you some time to miss your family a bit before you see them again.

Come visit us in Canada for the weekend instead. Thanksgiving is over here and we already have some snow and we’re putting up the Christmas lights. I drove past a school yard with a snow fort this morning.
