Well, you sound like a moron, but I'll bite.

True the show is hyperrealized, and it feels almost disingenuous how disconnected the family is with Andre and his issues, but then I consider how great a stigma mental illness remains within the black community, how commonplace these episodes must be (and tiring, however loving and supportive) and it makes sense.

I think Andre dumped his pills because he feels weak and helpless when on them and, when off them, isn't in the right mindset to know that he's weak and helpless without them.

I never feel more irrationally stubborn and angry than when faced with the inevitable mortality of people I admire and love.

It's an epidemic, white people touching ethnic hair, but usually regulated to children and adolescences either because they haven't been exposed to a diverse group of people or because their parents never taught them about personal space, verbal and/or physical, and are bad mannered.
