This is Ty Cobb’s statement in GIF form:
Oh it’s about to get better. Isn’t the White House holiday party with the media today?
This is probably Hillary Clinton right now
Even better, he’s prepared to testify that Trump directed him to make contact with the Russians, and is prepared to serve as a witness against Trump and his family. Happy Friday everyone!
The primaries were representative of the Democratic electorate: it consists of urban voters, minorities, and self-described Democrats. Clinton won those voters resoundingly. Sanders won white voters and younger voters. But his base simply was not enough to secure the nomination. The DNC didn’t have anything to…
I’m sure you’re real fun at parties. The primaries were not rigged. In the first instance, they’re run by state parties, not the DNC. The DNC is frankly irrelevant. What was relevant were the demographics of the primary electorate, which tilted towards Clinton heavily. The Brazile article— which is nothing more…
I loved Gothamist— read it everyday. I honestly didn’t know too much about Ricketts before this, but after this I despise the man.
Sanders lost to Hillary Clinton by nearly 4 million votes (that’s about a 12% margin of victory, which isn’t close). He was a terrible candidate— that’s why he lost. He can blame the process all he wants, but he just didn’t appeal to the broader electorate.
Exactly. The rigging stuff is complete BS. Sanders was never really competitive in the primary— the media just wanted a horserace and therefore stroked his ego. He lost big states like Florida, Texas, New York and California(which was fatal) and was completely destroyed in the South. That led to a delegate deficit…
Maybe she is trying to save face with Bernie and his supporters, but it’s just pathetic. I’m really tired of people relitigating that primary.
Wasn’t Sanders also offered the fundraising arrangement? Brazile really seems to be engaging in revisionist history here. And that’s not going to make Bernie kiss up to her.
They could curtail the spread by promoting early testing, prevention methods, and PREP/PEP. And it would help if they ensured everyone was getting treatment— expanding ADAP would help.
Kelly also had the audacity to say that respect for Gold Star families went out the window at the conventions last summer. I’m hoping he’s referring to having Patricia Smith speak at the convention and call Hillary Clinton a murderer.
I honestly thought the last two seasons were excellent and more thought provoking than in prior seasons. The SoDoSoPa episode was hilarious.
I think the DNC is pretty irrelevant overall. What concerns me, however, is that they have been entertaining the idea of expanding caucuses, which are inherently antidemocratic.
Yes— you have to be leveled up for that fight. Plus it helps if you have an attack that gradually wears him down, such as one that grosses him out, etc. Personally, I thought Manbearpig was a harder fight, but still doable.
