My one concern is that maybe KS-04 was a fluke. Brownback is the most unpopular governor in the country, and Estes was closely tied to him. I’m not so sure that the closeness of that race had much to do with Trump, as opposed to pushback against the sitting governor.

Probably no one other than Kellyanne would have taken this job. No experienced or respectable Republicans would probably want anything to do with this administration, let alone serve as its mouthpiece.
