I think it depends on which gym/clientele we’re talking about. At my gym, the staff actually regularly checks in on the steam room and showers, so that may be why it’s not an issue that I’ve seen. At other gyms— such as David Barton or Crunch— this is probably more common.

That’s where I work out :) I think it depends on which particular branch it is. I’ve gone to three regularly over the course of about 4 years (often during peak times) and never have run into this.
