Sessions is considered one of his saner picks, believe it or not. He was deemed to be too racist back in the 1980s to be a federal judge in Alabama, and his stance on everything (particularly immigration is horrifying). But I find the appointment of Michael Flynn to be equally disturbing. That guy was fired for good

Over 63 million now :-)

This to me proves (as we knew all along) that he cares more about being validated and receiving attention than the actual job of the presidency. Which means Pence is probably running the show and we’re fucked.

Interestingly, in Atlanta, Clinton won virtually all of the suburban counties. Places like Cobb and Gwinnett Counties— which voted for Romney by significant margins. Ditto in Houston, where Clinton won Fort Bend County and near LA, Clinton won Orange County— which hasn’t voted for a Democrat since 1936.

I marched in NYC for nothing :-( Where’s my paycheck, damn it

It was specifically ‘editorial criteria”— whatever the hell those are. It’s from the statement that Wikileaks released on election day

Where were the Congressional investigations on this? We wasted millions in tax payer dollars on Benghazi and emailz, but will this get the same attention? This seems a hell of a lot more disturbing.

There’s no way he can deliver on his promises, which is problem number one for him. Coal jobs aren’t coming back like he promised because even if he eliminates Obama’s environmental regulations, natural gas is cheap and China has little demand for our coal. Problem number 2 is that his tax cut plan and infrastructure

Yup— Bush had the benefit of 9/11, and therefore terrorism eclipsed economic issues. Bush also only won a second term by about 2%.

Completely agree. There’s always a formula to each year. Jax causes drama and makes things up, then admits he was lying, and then deflects to some other storyline.

Not sure about that. Given how divisive Trump is and his low favorability ratings, there’s a chance to knock him off. It all depends on how he performs as President, which is likely to be poor.

I should buy a home in Las Vegas now :)

What’s more disturbing to me is that Giuliani doesn’t have experience other than this consulting work. And as mayor, he sucked. He put the office of emergency management in seven World Trade Center and failed to give emergency responders proper equipment. This is just the icing on the cake for a man who made such a

If people actually listened to his podcast and read the articles, they would know that :) I appreciate 538 because the writers there strive to be objective.

At the time he wrote about it in late October, he gave a 10.5 percent chance that Trump would win the White House, but would lose the popular vote. 10.5% is not statistically insignificant. Moreover, he specifically noted that the odds of such a split were increasing prior to the election. http://fivethirtyeight.com

That poll was off for a variety of reasons (including that they gave too much weight to an African American Trump supporter). The other national polls were more accurate given that Clinton won the popular vote (she’s currently up by about 1 million votes, and it’s expected to increase as states like NJ, CO, WA, OR,
