His Sierra Blanca bill is what gives me the most pause about his record. How could he talk about environmental racism and Flint, when he sponsored a bill that dumped nuclear waste in a poor town (and in a tectonically active area)? Wellstone labeled his law environmental racism. And Sanders’ response to the people of

Depends on how you define “Upstate.” There’s a Monmouth poll out today that shows him losing upstate, but, as expected, Clinton’s lead mostly comes from NYC, Westchester, and Long Island.

I’m loving this gossip. Tell us more!

The political “reporting” on this site and Gawker in general is downright pathetic. Aside from the fact that you’re often hours behind other outlets in publishing stories, you’re clearly biased. The fact that The Slot and Gawker tried to cover up the NYDN transcript and downplay it is utterly laughable.

I’m glad I haven’t run into this. I’m not really sure Tinder is an appropriate forum for politicking.

I’m more of a data person (maybe thanks to my useless poli sci degree), but it drives me nuts when people cite to those polls. I don’t mind people trying to convince me to vote one way or the other (I’m leaning Clinton, but can be convinced otherwise), but I just don’t like when Bernie supporters immediately attack

Exactly. I’m so tired of people pointing to general election matchups as if that is empirical evidence, and it’s usually (but not always) the Bernie supporters that point to those polls. Those polls mean absolutely nothing at this point.

Well, Silver is usually right and he’s not wrong about the notion that general election polls this far out are not an accurate metric of how someone will perform in the general election. I really don’t think that’s controversial.

My opinion is not necessarily that she’s more electable. My opinion that I’m tired of seeing people pointing to head-to-head matchups as if that is credible evidence. It isn’t. Read 538— they’ve written plenty of well-reasoned articles on this point and they happen to know a lot about polling on that site.

The general election head-to-head matchups are meaningless at this stage. If we relied on those polls, GWB would have won by 12 points in 2000 (he lost the popular vote). Bernie is unknown to many people, and he hasn’t faced any attacks yet (HRC is currently being attacked both from the left and the right).

SNL has really become stale. I really miss MadTV— that show was hilarious. I would love to see Debra Wilson’s Oprah and Whitney impressions again.

I love how Terry Dubrow was included in that video. Nice touch.

You mean like this?

The part when the witch jumps off the wardrobe honestly made me scream in the theaters. That movie was well done. I’m hoping this one is just as scary.

I couldn’t stop playing Asylum and City. Origins was a good game— though not as great as its predecessors. Knight was the biggest disappointment of the series (even more so than Origins). Knight had a pretty good start and there were some great additions (like the medics in the predator fights) and I liked the

Arkham Knight was a huge disappointment, and I’m a huge fan of the series. I thought the game had a great start, but the tank battles and lazy boss fights really ruined the game. I honestly stopped playing when I saw that Deathstroke was in a cobra tank. At least Arkham Origins had decent boss fights.

Yes, I would. There’s a very big difference between living in New York City and commuting there from the suburbs.

I’m literally in tears from this video. “It’s literally open to any college....thump”

So then you didn’t live in NYC. Living in NYC and visiting it on occasion are not the same thing. That said, some people are not cut out for living here, just like some people aren’t cut out for living in the Midwest. To each his/her own.

I think Arkham Knight was in general a very disappointing game. The game started off great, but the plot fell apart midway through the game, the tank battles were boring, and the boss battles were lazy/half-baked. It really should be called “Batman: Arkham Tank”
