And shortening—or at least making less pleasant—the lives of others, by forcing them to spend time with (and often be subordinate to) the adults who grow up to embody these “manly” qualities they’re taught as kids!
Eh, I typically save “actual arguments” for people worth the effort. You haven’t been saying anything particularly groundbreaking or intelligent, and besides—why would I “argue” with political points I mostly agree with when what I take issue with is the person whose mouth they’re coming out of?

You missed my point. The issue is that it’s only an option for some people to see others/themselves ONLY as individuals, rather than also as parts of groups with shared characteristics that shape their lives.
