@housemaster22: It's not the only thing I repair, nor are repairs my only source of income..... that being said, I do make a good chunk of cash off of 360 repairs, and that is rather damning for MS.

@Rictor: MS doesn't make the hardware themselves - most of it is outsourced.
@blehh: I tell everyone about the MS warranty - they go w/ me for the sake of saving time.
I repair Xbox 360's. I don't work for MS, I offer my own alternate services - I'm quite good at it too - I don't just do towel tricks and the like as some "repairmen" do, I actually seek out the problem, and fix it, whether that involves replacing the AV jack, or reflowing the GPU. I don't say any of that to brag, or…
@Jwhite1979: These artists did the work for google in exchange for recognition. The recognition, while nice, doesn't pay the bills. Google paid them in recognition, and other companies are likely to follow suit - after all, google is an industry leader. maybe next time it's comcast that's asking for handouts, or…
@reluttr: A contest is fine. It allows undiscovered talent a chance to be seen. What google did was akin to your boss coming into your office and asking you to work a week without pay in exchange for a big sign on the front of the building that proclaimed you were a good worker.
It's worth noting that google solicited professional, talented artists to do the art for those themes for free.
Ever since he stopped calling himself CliffyB, I've been calling him Clifford Upperbottom Blezinski of the East Hampton Blezinski's, and that's what I'm going to keep calling him.
Don't fall for PR speak - all he said was that the Natal would run on the existing hardware, and that a new console wouldn't be necessary. He didn't say that it wouldn't happen, and given the "falls apart in your hands" nature of the 360, I don't find a 360v2 to be a hard concept to swallow.
@Jon: that's very true, and when it legitimately happens, I find it offensive on the part of the publisher and the dev. You have to admit though, it was kind of silly for everyone to fly off the handle about the RE5 content without having actual answers.
The price is a little steep - I'd accept it if they threw in a new map or two.
ugh - you too kotaku? I'm just gonna copy / paste a comment I made on IGN - it holds true here too.
OMG what cracker jack detective work! They took the time to decompile the flash and determine that Squenix is attempting to generate hype for a fancy trailer! What an unexpected turn of events! I thought it was counting down to the release of images of the Final Fantasy XIII Lunchbox!!
@kiwidust: I mentioned it in another comment, but it bears repeating - the chart is a work in progress. We'll be adding to it, and making changes to it as time goes on. Sony is definitely going to be included in future versions of the chart.
I played the Japanese demo, and while I will agree that it's not scary, I still enjoy it for all the reasons I enjoyed RE4. I like the combat system / control scheme (despite the lack of shooting while running), and the co-op element ads something new and fresh to a formula I already loved.
@ichiban1081: lololol
@y2julio: Look, I have some nice hair. It's pretty damned long too - middle of my back. I can safely say no hair can even come close to comparing to that flowing locks that make up the Crecente God-like mane. You would have to grow your hair out, and shave it all off no less than three times to even come close to…
I once made a wager with a friend, where if I won, he had to walk around the local Target where we were both employed at the time with peanut butter on his face singing "I'm a little tea pot". If he won, he would no longer owe me $20. Long story short, I won, and he made good on the bet. It was HILARIOUS.
