Soooo I guess they searched ALL of Canada before coming to this conclusion? Or do they have a reason to believe that?

The Apple Store is taking you for a ride Bash. No reason they couldn't pop your hard drive in an external enclosure, and grab your data for you. It's probably too late, but I'll give you the same advice I give everyone in a similar situation - rather than going to the big brand name store, find a local technician, or

@Shinamano: Well, if they did go from scratch, yea, they'd be paying someone at least a couple thousand bucks, but you're absolutely right - they'd most likely throw something they already have on file in that space.

I'm always a little torn on contests like this. See, it's nice for the artist to get some exposure if they win. It may not be MUCH exposure, depending on where / if their name appears, but still, exposure is exposure.

@xMindPrintsx: I was sort of on the fence about this game. I suffer from a pretty severe case of WWII shooter fatigue, but I did like CoD4 A LOT, and anything built on that engine is bound to be fun. This video right here may have just pushed me over the edge.

@Michael McWhertor: lololol - this NEEDS to be in comments of the week. In fact, you should pretty much just point comments of the week at this post. Just make it redirect.

@mva5580: Oh, and as far as fake news in the name of fun, who the hell cares? It's all in good fun - no harm done, and they're pretty effin blatent about it when they're posting a gag - lighten up, have a little fun. You're not reading the wall street journal, this is Kotaku. A site dedicated to fun and games - enjoy

@mva5580: Look, journalism is tough. It's a constant race to be the first one to report on something bit BUT you also have to maintain credibility. Sometimes this results in rumors getting run (usually tagged as rumors) before all the facts are in. Kotaku always makes a correction if they post a story before it's done

@MCWHAMMER: Didn't their phone bot go by Aeris previously?

Unfortunately, Amazon says I'll LBP on Tuesday. Bah.

With SFIV right around the corner, I doubt I'll be paying more than $10 for this. Maybe a few months back I would have. Maybe I'd pick it up if it were only $10. If they're looking to recoup their losses by raising the price way up, they're going to get a surprise when people pass in favor of waiting for SFIV.

I use Lunarpages and couldn't be happier - Godaddy actually sold a domain they were supposed to transfer to lunarpages for me a while back. They sold it for one helluva profit too. I'll never do business w/ them again. It's amazing those asshats still have any customers.

@EoinJ: by all means, adapt away. Personally, I'm just happy to see my philosophies on game reviewing are well received.

I actually run a gaming blog. If you care after reading this, the link is in my profile.

Even if it isn't "unlock dlc" it's still way overpriced. All the work is done - both of these characters already exist, and to charge five dollars for something like that is just silly. I mean, I'd pay maybe one or two but not five - it's too much for what they're offering.

Actually, I'd say the only question left is what's it gonna cost?

@insanejedi: The big problem I have with that is as follows:

I will bet any one of you any amount of money all three release on the same day. If they don't release the same day, development will conclude at the same time, and the releases will be staggered to give the appearance that the second two campaigns are "expansions" and not "rip offs". I'm really hoping they prove me

@clroen: no, the green box - you know, green - like the color of our money.

yea, I'm still not sold. This is lame. Lame, lame, lame. This was a fiscal move. Until they prove otherwise, I'll continue treating it as such. I stand by my original statement that unless each campaign contains unique maps, and isn't just a rehash of the content in the other two, this is a rip off. I'm still
