And also, for the small percentage of people who cannot get vaccinated due to a legitimate deadly allergy to one of the components is why it is SO IMPORTANT for anyone who CAN get vaccinated to do it. My family doctor wanted me to book a consultation with him before referring me to a gyno, who also required I book a consultation before giving me an IUD. The whole process would’ve taken a minimum of 4 MONTHS. This BS was also the final nail in the coffin for me with my previous GP.

I was referring specifically to rental searching in Toronto; I’ve never had to look for a rental anywhere other than Guelph or Toronto, so I can’t speak to how effective they are outside of the GTA.

You can raise the rent, but the amount you can raise it is limited/dictated annually. Unless you apply for an above guideline increase, which they do grant, especially if there were major renovations.

Consider getting a realtor to help. It’s free for you and they might be able to find you something you couldn’t otherwise.
