My old roommate killed himself a month ago. It’s the first time I’ve lost someone close to me to suicide. My heart still really hurts. This hits really close to home. Condolences all around.

Goes to show how you can be surrounded by people, lead a pretty great life, and still be depressed. It’s terrifying in a way; someone can appear perfectly happy and then the next day - gone.
