Guess they weren’t Madesowell.

Woot! Glad to hear we are gaining more kids! My dad is a Kelly grad himself and it has served him well. My sister and I are both grads! I just got married there last month too. We’re region rats. But to the Indy area kids we are all “Chicagoans”. When someone introduces you that way, you feel the need to express

“I didn’t want him to laugh at me. I didn’t want to offend him.”

I think this all could of been avoided if we all weren’t so bored that we have the time and attention to spaz out about a bunch of privileged white girls making videos that describe, to the details, what their privileged white woman lives look like.

I don’t quite understand why the University told the sorority to take down the video. My only guess is the amount of skin in the video was “unbecoming”. Otherwise, I was just like “meh. white girls gonna white.” [full disclosure: i’m white.]

When my adult son goes off the rails the VERY FIRST THING I tell the authorities when reporting him missing and/or a danger to himself is that he is struggling with mental illness. It’s a smart move when you’re trying to protect your child.

Why? I don’t understand all this hatred of her. And why is it ok for Trump to specifically call her a fat pig or whatever, and not anyone else?

A drug addict who willingly gave her up for adoption. Your feelings for someone you only know from when she’s in front of the camera aside, who do you think would really make a better mother for a child with mental illness, a rich celebrity or a poor drug addict?

Maybe not the perfect soapbox to step up on.

I feel like neither of those thoughts demonstrate either empathy or compassion for a fellow human being and her family who are, it seems, going through some rough shit. I like a contrarian as much as anyone else, but come on.

My son has aspergers. He is very picky about things and has sensory issues, sometimes in public, sometimes very loudly, always stubbornly immovable. Do you know who deals with it? Him and myself, not innocent bystanders.

That does not surprise me. I once stepped on a baby at a bar. The kid was seriously sitting on the nasty ass floor in front of the bathroom. Why would I be looking down? I’m never expecting a baby on the floor at a bar.

Sort of off topic: We had some lady who brought her teacup Yorkie “service dog” into the bar and was letting it run around and I was like, “Lady there is rat poison at like every bar, including this one. Your dog is about the size of a DC rat. It will die if it eats any. Keep it on your lap.” She was PISSED. I don’t

If you think your child having autism gives you the carte-blanche ability to be an ignorant asshole, well then you’re probably an ignorant asshole.

Sorry, bzzxt, wrong. My family is full of Autistic folks. Yet, somehow, we manage to eat, and eat out, and nobody has to be an asshole.

I'm not sure how having a child with autism makes it okay to berate restaurant staff for not providing food that they do not offer on their menu.

With you on this one - the videography is clearly influenced by current reality shows and there’s a lot of kind of bland tropes of aspirational fun and games and girl power. It could be an ad for a new mall, or a country-pop music video.

The lack of diversity in their membership is striking (but it’s a sorority at a

The aspiring divinity student told detectives that a “moment of ‘divine inspiration’” caused him to stop.

It’s killing me that he is an aspiring divinity student!

No shade! There’s no shade!!!
