I’ve also joined Meetup. I haven’t met anyone that I’m close with, but the group does interesting things I’d otherwise not do, so at least there’s that!

Red and green are Christmas colors. So the cup celebrates Christmas, just not overtly. But I’ve also been told that Santa Claus isn’t a Christian symbol (really? Santa is based on St. Nicholas, and delivers presents on Christmas Eve, but OK) because he’s not taught from the pulpit, so what do I know?
Oh, Kim, still claiming she was sober, angry at Rinna for telling the truth. Can’t wait to see them discuss her arrest for stealing from Target.
My favorite Andy story: on the book tour for his first book, he had an event with the local Jewish Federation. Being relatively new in town, I had no girlfriends to go with, so my husband agreed to come with me. Major points for him! Fun event, I asked a question about the Shahs of Sunset, got in line to buy the book.…
Two of the proudest days of my life were when Brian responded to my comments on Vulture. I showed my husband and everything. Like that makes us friends, or something. :)
Kaia Gerber is Cindy’s clone. And no doubt more glamorous at 13 than I will ever be in my life.
I heard the soundtrack as a child (and I’m sure the musical, but I don’t remember it) in the 70s. When Donny Osmond was touring in the 90s, I made sure I bought tickets. I taped the PBS version (with Donny) to show my kids, and literally warped the cassette tape from playing it for them in the car too often.
I loved Briana, until her husband yelled at Lydia’s mother for putting her feet on Vicki’s couch. And saying it was his house, he made the rules (it’s Vicki’s house, dude). And she backed him up and yelled, too.
The worst were Lynne’s girls (I think at least one was an OC Angel, too). Sneaking drinks in the bathroom (while Bravo filmed outside) and trying to get drinks at a Bravo event...
As a Chicagoan, I got a kick out of “I need to be somewhere not so sunny! Let’s move to Chicago!”
I don’t remember her name, but I do remember that they moved to someplace not as sunny to protect her skin... Illinois. As a Chicagoan, I laughed and laughed. Andy had her on a ‘where are they now’ special a few years ago.
Loving the topic this is filed to!
I think it has been so long since Tom Cruise has made cookies that he didn’t recognize the pre made log of dough as cookie dough.
Oh! Ok, then. Good to know that it’s OK to be racist against townies vs. racist against Yalies.
Hey! I’m a decaf drinker for medical reasons. I’m tired of waiting around for a pour-over because Starbucks decided they only need to accommodate me in the morning. If I lived in NYC, I’d be a frequent buyer.
I disagree. Losing Meredith Viera was the problem.
If you read the article, it tells you that she was briefly on her phone, the teacher told her to go down to the discipline office and she refused. The officer came in and beat her out of her hair. There. That’s what she did.
This toy looks like it’s part of the Littles Pet Shop line. My daughter owned approx. 1,000,00,000 of these animals (all different species, same eyes) before we gave them to my niece.
I would think it would be easy to Google the names before committing to them. I read one that book editors do that before approving books...
Great 80s fun! Morris Day and The Time are just as good as Prince, IMO. There was even an article I saw somewhere on the Interwebs not too long ago about how they actually performed BETTER than Prince in the movie.
