Orville is surprisingly good and more Star Trek than Discovery.

Even the new Star Trek shows miss the mark. They’re more about action style entertainment. Sure, that’s fine in its own sphere, too, but it’s not really Star Trek like it should be.

I have, and the hell it is. The show acknowledges controversies exist, exploits them for body humor and practical jokes, and that’s about the extent of exploring each premise. It’s fine for what it is, which is parody.

THERE ARE FOUR UNCANNY VALLEYS!

Now that both Sarek and Harry Mudd have been recast is it a big leap to speculate that the true purpose of this show is not to serve as a prequel to the original series but rather as a prequel to a reboot of the original series?

On a side note, I have never put any credence in any SW detail that was not specifically spelled out on-screen. In my opinion, Disney’s decision to erase the non-movie canon was wise (don’t flame me!). However, it also reinforces my continuing belief that the only thing that matters is the movies.

FTFY.

I just want the scene where they try to convince Jessica Jones to join up.

Seconded. I would be absolutely content with a comedic legal procedural with her occasionally punching out dudes at the coffee shop.

She-Hulk vs. Matt Murdock in the courtroom on Season 4 of Daredevil would be perfect.

I want a She Hulk legal drama, but I’ll settle for whatever we get.

That pic, combined with the fact I recently read Dan Slott’s run, just reminded me how much I want She-Hulk in the MCU. Film, TV, Netflix, I don’t care. I just want her.

From what that trailer show’d us I don’t see one fucking hint of the Demon Bear in it. Will it delve into how Dani’s parents were turned into the beast that haunted her? Will it be native american focused then like it should? Probably no to all of those since it looks like a PG-13 horror film with jumpscares and 2D

My thing is if they want to do horror with New mutants it would be easier to use the source material. You can have it about the N’garai waking up from a long nap to wreck Havok (Haw Haw Haw). A Dani focused film with the Demon Bear. Belacaso if you want to have Magik in it. Or even go for something really different

The best way to turn tech fans off a product is to get Zuckerberg standing in front of it. He needs to let his team handle the hardware.

I’m just like you - watched the first episodes of Inhumans as well as the fits episode of the Gifted.

I think it’s as bad as it can get, despite Anson. He’s incredibly unexpressive in this role. The show is so boring that I just don’t think I can keep watching.

They’re damned lucky they have a good physical actor of the caliber of Anson Mount playing, you know, the guy who can’t talk, or it’d be even worse. I gave up part-way into that second episode out of sheer boredom, and I’m somebody who absolutely loves the Inhuman royal family in the comics.
