Man, that was a fun show before the whole actual presidency made it....less fun.

Yeah, it isn’t white washing, it’s more of the “White Savior” trope, like in Avatar and Tarzan and many other stories and movies the white guy comes into a different country/culture (usually less civilized, but it’s not the case here) and not only does he become better than them at the things they have been doing…

Counter argument: all of Mooney’s characters are very similar and he doesn’t seem committed in any sketch where he isn’t the star. He is our generation’s non-singing Adam Sandler.

Poor Pharaoh; they just never gave him enough to do. Killiam, eh, he seemed nice enough but just a good utility player, not a top one like a Hader or Hartman.
