This is a bad take. Having imported two cars from Canada (both with 1 VINs and mostly identical to US spec) I can tell you this is not an easy, cheap, or quick process.  I could write a paragraph on it but someone here already has so look at their comment.

Yeah, having imported two vehicles from Canada I can say with 100% certainty that this is not a fast or easy or cheap process. Also you are going to have to modify that car when you bring it in because there will be small differences that are made between the markets that need to be addressed. Try getting a letter out

I honestly can’t wait till mine comes in.  I got the gas job because I do have to tow more than 2k but my mother got the hybrid so it’ll be fun to see the differences.  The hybrid is delayed pretty hard right now though.  Mine should be here in November, hers maybe April/May.

Early Prius, early Tesla, those are the easy ones.

Pretty easy to keep a Maverick under that even well equipped.

Did someone steal it?

Yup.  This is the answer.  Rear legroom for day and comfy ride.

Doug DeMuro addressed that one.

The plan seems to be to move towards made-to-order and less on dealers lots.  There are so many orders to fulfill it’ll be mid next year before there is excess inventory.

I’d love to know how the 2.0EB drives. I have a hybrid and a EB on order.  The EB is scheduled for production, the hybrid not yet.

How old is that list? Saab, Hummer, Saturn, Mercury...

Wait... did you call the U-Haul car trailer... LIGHT?

It’s cute, but just buy an RV or a trailer for that kind of money and have it done properly with holding tanks and electric.

This interaction with a Corvette owner could have been prevented, but he has 75 months left on his 80 month financing so he is damned if he will go through a carwash.  The 15K residual equity might turn into 14K.

Almost half that list made sense.

I’ve got two reserved.  They are replacing F-150s.  99.5% of what we do can be done with this truck, the other .5% will be done by a U-haul and I don’t have to worry about flogging my truck.  Saved over $20K on a similarly specced F-150 each.  No brainer.

Last year being the exception we usually hit a low of -15F ~ -20F each year for at least a few nights. That’s not a windchill number either, which only speeds the cooling process but does not decrease the actual temperature.

A soft pass at the window dip by the mirrors like a Ford and the rest is pure Taco. TBH it’s a good look, hope they can sell some of them at MSRP and not 20% off.

If you stretch the definition of brown you have TWO browns!

The last test I saw on the 2.0 was 26 mpg avg on mixed driving.  Not sure anyone has gotten firm numbers on the hybrid but I heard 37 avg.  It’s all still preproduction so who knows.
