I am 38 and have those tires, can confirm they look cool. Beyond that they are rated for dry, wet and winter... the rare tire trifecta. I live in Wisconsin and they have been better than my previous set of winter tires (not cool) this time of year.

I would buy the Michelins because they have a cool looking tread, I am 41.

This is hilarious. I’ve only ever booked a flight with them once... They cancelled my flight just 4 days before takeoff. I spent 6 hours on hold for customer service before calling it quits.

Nah... I think even in pre-COVID times, this would have still been worth at least $4000 given the condition, low mileage and the spec.

I think the saving grace for this is the low miles. sure there are low mile cars out there that are in shit shape because they dont get driven hard enough and whatnot but with this thing having 3 pedals, id guess its seen a wider range of the tac than what a computer would allow.

It’s a Mondeo/Contour/Mystique with a 2door body. A Contour SVT in this shape would be loads more money. That 6 is one of the sweetest engines of it’s time. Almost as nice as the Yamaha 6 in the Taurus SHO.

Seriously, look at this guy’s head in relation to his torso and tell me he isn’t a man-owl hybrid. This kind of disquieting and subliminal manipulation was common in advertising back in the day.

Anyone else what happened to these? I seem to remember seeing them everywhere in the mid 2000's. Now, now you may see one a year.

These actually have a pretty nice exhaust note with an aftermarket set of pipes. Its not like this thing will ever end up in a museum, great car to buy/drive in all its early-aughts glory. Not the fastest car, or the best handling.. or the prettiest/sought after.. But hey, for $6k its a clean sporty car in great…

Not a horrible vehicle,  not a horrible price. NP

I think ‘expected to survive’ is a very generous assessment when the title should probably be:

Maverick hybrid is the best deal in cars, period. Fuel economy better than an economy sedan, for price less than or equal to that economy sedan. With all the room and practicality of a 4 door truck.
