I’m just shy of $36k but it’s got a lot of checkboxes. Still $20k shy of a F-150 with less options and I’ve been a solid Meh on the last two F-150s.

Because we can just legally grow it here? After prohibition ended we could freely bring in most any liquor...

What is this 2002?  Who is still importing pot?

I’m pedantic enough to appreciate the response and clarification.

You can order that today...

100% this

I feel like part of the aggressive pricing we’re seeing on the Maverick is based on the idea that most will be built to order at MSRP and not given away with 1/3 cost in rebates on a lot after 6 months. It means lower prices for everyone and we can get what we want.

That’s what I ordered, mostly for the added towing. It can replace my F-150 for $20k less as I only tow about 4K and bed size just isn’t that big of a deal for me. Honestly, tow a 12' utility trailer and you have all the space you need for big things (under the 4k limit).

I didn’t even know there was a TRD Pro RAV4...

Just beware repairs to old Caddy’s and their “options” will be expensive and difficult.

Interesting, and can I just say THANK YOU for posting the supporting documentation I 100% mean that.

It’s $5 less, I had to look it up. Plate fee is only difference, though it felt like more of a savings when I switched.

Sears was the worst.

Maine does not inspect antiques, but you do need proof of a regular daily driver vehicle. I had to go through this when I moved one of my trucks over to antique plates 9 mos ago, insurance was simple through my current provider and remained unchanged (though for anything truly odd Hagerty or another specialty company

I honestly just used clear spray paint.  Does the job and fills the imperfections.  Bonus points if you polish the lenses first, but not required.

Not our finest moment, and the knucklehead is coming back for another go at it...

Samesies.

You should be able to register as a “custom vehicle” if they refuse a straight “antique” registration. Nowhere in the statute does it say it has to have been manufactured for use in the US and the MV-65 paperwork does not require it. If you can’t pull a VIN you call it a custom.

Register them as antique. You will need to have at least ONE other registered vehicle available to you in your household and if the state catches you daily driving an antique plate they will come down like the hammer of god.  No mileage limitations but supposed to be within 250 miles of home and to “events and special
