Not a fan of the capacitive touch buttons for climate, otherwise it’s a kinda nice clean look.  Does have a whiff of the future about it.

I think it’s the only member of the class to leave the pavement.

I think it’s an entire class below that, it’s really REALLY small.

The front is, let’s be honest - OK at best. The rear is actively bad with the taillights occupying only the corners, leaving a swath of space under the decklid to just stretch like the Sahara.

The motorcycle cops around here back in the day would pull over people (read DUI) and have them drive the car the rest of the way with them riding the bike with a foot on the running board NEXT TO THE DRUNK GUY DRIVING THE CAR.

15K too much for a car that is literally illegal to drive. At the end of the day it’s a clean slushbox Z28 with mismatched paint.

IIRC it was fully documented they just said that they didn’t “fully research” it and upon doing so realized they were wrong.

Those aren’t the people that fuel up a boat.  Most wouldn’t even know how.  You hire chumps like me for that.

I assume it’s altitude as both coasts seem to do 87/93 (though lately I’ve been seeing some 91 in stead of 93) and the plains and mountain states are all 85/91.

This. Marine pumps make the automotive ones seem slow as you’re often filling 300+ gallon tanks and if your filler neck has any funky angles, bends, or runs in it the chore becomes stupid and lengthy since you can’t pump at full speed and have to hold the nozzle at a fraction of full volume. Had this issue on a Donzi

Maine has been dealing with solar projects being put on hold because transformers and substations that were supposed to be “good to go” for a new array were suddenly not sufficient and the utility wanted to bill the solar owner for the upgrade after the project got approved. There’s talk about our Iberdrola owner

Again, that is a sand pile. They also believe it or not have a building with salt which, and this might really blow you away, can be put in the exact same trucks that spread sand.

Sand is used but so is salt. You won’t see the piles just sitting outside as it turns into a hard lumpy mess with moisture.

Talk about a design that maximizes space. I bet it would work well with a skateboard design for a powertrain and chassis so upgrading or repair/replacing would be quick and easy. Few bolts and a wiring harness and slide a replacement under it and have full access to the other one.

Dude we use salt. Like ALL THE TIME.

It’s just a 4WD GC with a broken transfer case.

So why even have a Jeep?

This is the correct take.

I think reallocating funds is completely possible, though I will give caution using CA as an example if only due to the unique geography it has taking up a big section of coast. Other states have to work together, which is never easy but there are also areas with much lower population density.

IIRC the current Samsung fab isn’t making current gen chips and was built as a memory fab originally. (Also I was wrong it’s just a HQ in Austin for TSMC).
