Netflix kills He-Man? Well, I guess they have the power.

That’s nonsense. “The share of funds available to pay actors” is whatever the studios want it to be. RDJ made lots of money on Marvel movies. The movies he was in made immense amounts more that went to the studios and their shareholders. Management is the problem, not higher paid labor.
Partly that’s because “the studios” are an anonymous corporate collective. You hate the studios, what are you going to do?
Haha, Editor.
Sounds like some kind of superhero, or villain origin...if not potential catastrophe.
Reddit is still the best site I’ve used for pc game helps and tips. Most other users are genuinely helpful.
Buddy, this was the most gentle Statler and Waldorf-esque ribbing comment for you to get upset over. Take a break for a bit.
Heck, they established they were significant above the power level of the MCU Avengers.
I was annoyed. It was crap. They clearly have tech that counters magic but forget to bring it with them when confronting Wanda so they can have some edgelord slaughter that’s supposed to be funny.
My only complaint is that we’d just gotten a really good, fleshed out Captain Carter in What If...? and now here’s live action Haley Atwell but it’s Captain Carter again just as a shock cameo. Compare that to her appearance in Endgame during the heist where it’s later in her life, Steve is long gone, and she’s…
My mind is racing with the possibilities of Captain Get Hit By A Statue adventures.
The problem I have with it is that Wanda could be an absolutely amazing villain, but that script wasn’t one that made her so.
I think the issue is that they failed to showcase their power. I get that a part of it was to highlight just how strong SW was, but since we basically ONLY saw them fight SW, and get ripped to shreds in seconds, it felt pretty flat to me. Which then made their inclusion feel empty.
“It’s a surprisingly grim and mean-spirited bit of fanservice, and if you weren’t a fan of that detour, then Atwell shares your sentiment.”
I absolutely get that we needed to see Wanda wipe the floor with these characters in the film to see how dangerous she was, and don’t have a huge problem with it, but Peggy’s death in that film was needlessly grim. I don’t even understand how the shield could have cut her in half. It’s designed to bounce off…
I hope that with time we can all come together in friendship and agree that Doctor Strange 2 was simply not A Good Movie.
In the Captain Carter universes she goes into the ice instead of Steve, so she’d be the same age as he is in the main MCU.
Can’t say that this was, in-particular, the part that annoyed me - it wasn’t like it was -our- Peggy, or even the one from What-If. Just an alternate universe version.
I will say that the movie on the whole felt pretty low-key misogynist, though. Any movie that defaults to the tired ‘womb madness’ trope kinda sucks,…
To them, we’re nothing but bags of meat with money.
This is more about US airlines extorting passengers for a direct flight than anything else. They made money off that seat to NYC regardless of having a passenger in it. You don’t get a refund if you miss your flight. American Airlines is just mad that they aren’t squeezing even more money out of their customers. To…
