Nope, for the most part they’re the exact same thing. An item that fills a slot to provide stats/skills to the character. It’s a weird thing to complain about if you otherwise like RPGs but demand the stats come from actual equipment.
I generally agree with you, but what about this system is related to deck building besides the superficial use of “cards” to symbolize what is essentially just a list of collectible perks? The game is an RPG. It feels like you’re dismissing an RPG element just because it communicates the element through cards.
Upvoted, because this post made me laugh and cry and the same time.
Sir, you don’t understand. He took MONEY. From RICH people.
You mean before he escapes to the one place that hasn’t been corrupted by capitalism ... SBAAAAICE?
Yup. I played Mario Brothers on the NES in the mid-80's. My kids (and I) played New Super Mario Brothers, Mario Galaxy, and Mario Kart on the wii, and Smash Brothers and Mario Kart on the switch. I can only assume that future generations will also play Mario Something on whatever that future system might be.
The scene where Mario, having learned that the Toads are going to dissect Luigi’s brain for medical research, just plows through the hospital throwing shells at them all, is truly brutal.
now its for a younger generation. Get over it.
The Mario movie is a nonstop conga line of references to video games that came out decades ago. It brings back the “Mario is from Brooklyn” origin which hasn’t been canon since 1995 but which is popular among anyone who grew up watching the 1989 Mario cartoon series. At one point they do the DK Rap for no reason.
Oh the Christian fundamentalists are gonna protest the HELL out of an ActRaiser movie.
Too late, Tommy Tallarico has those rights (or at least he says he does).
Wasn’t it the same with Tsunade? Like her strength wasn’t brute strength so much as a strengthening technique that went along with her crazy medical skills and regeneration technique.
Doing something “in the most literal definition of the phrase” does not mean doing it with maximum time/results efficiency. It just means that is literally the thing you are doing.
I mean since you brought up the equation why don’t ya also factor in the emissions for driving for Doordash/Lyft/Uber? Charitably, there is one of those you could bike for, but then also factor in all the single-use plastic in play with takeout. Also consider that someone’s time does not directly equal a dollar…
I hope the MCU really mangles the “ice-skate uphill” line in the same way Sony did with the “great power, great responsibility” bit in ‘Amazing Spider-Man’.
If the pictures weren’t suitable they wouldn’t have been the first results on Getty. Scrolling down is for amateurs.
