Jupiter’s Legacy. It has a live action adaptation on Netflix by the same name. Super Crooks is an anime focused on a group of villains in that world. It adapts Millar’s spinoff book of the same name, though iirc only the second half comes from the comic.

I don’t see Blue Beetle being an option as he is 21 in his movie, which will force all of the Titans cast to be around that age. I expect that would be an issue as they likely want a film that will capture the teen market. Beetle could possibly be positioned as a potential mentor for the team if they decide to try to…

...yet it still manages to feel like a retread of a dozen different superhero film cliches. Kind of impressive.

The funny thing about that is that all of the suits of that era, aside from Storm, Gambit, and Jubilee’s , are designed around blue and yellow as the central colors. So they screwed up enough on the color that a decent chunk of the audience only perceived the blue part as being the costume.

Um...the lead ‘teen on weird rainbow scooter’ is Sophie Thatcher so that seems doubtful.

That’s possible. It is also true that the current adaptation made some changes that alter some of the core characters. Like introducing Ozai and Azula early or changing the way the Agni Kai played out. The latter is pretty huge IMO.

They walked away from the Netflix show due to ‘creative differences’. No elaboration was given but the general assumption is that they didn’t like the changes made for the adaptation.

I’d imagine that the creators of the franchise would do everything possible to kill that project if it was on the table.

Hm. I’m much more curious about how they’ll handle the Jenny Shepard stuff and Vance’s backstory since they both happened early in LJG’s career iirc.
