We are past that point already. It’s just that the fallout hasn’t reached us yet.

The left hand is probably quite busy, given how much flapping the right hand is doing. Deleting CDC data, suppressing news of the bird flu passing to humans, cutting the budget for NOAA and hiding climate change data, etc, etc, etc.

Well what do you know, it’s the completely predictable consequences of our actions, who would have thought?

Crazy to think that just 4 months ago, inflation was down, price of eggs were going down to normal, employment and wages were on a ascending curve and insane ideas like invading Canada, Greenland and Panama or building casinos in Las Gaza, foolish trade-wars were not occupying the news.

Remember: With enough money, you can fully insulate yourself from any ill effects, no matter how many people your decisions kill.

Oh no. You don’t say that ill thought out policies, condemned by every reputable economist, are screwing things up in record time?

China will “concede” something they’re already doing, Trump will take credit for it, and his base will eat it up.

Good luck getting to upper atmosphere for “cheap”

Something else that wasn’t discussed is roll over risk.

It’s not that hard.

As someone who has won the Wet Road World Championship Racing Cup in 2019, 2020 and 2021 before retiring from Wet Road Racing, I would like to remind viewers that their headlights do nothing, it’s the tail lights that matter and will keep a large truck from rear-ending you, so please turn them on.

You knew Donald Trump when he was a kid?

Pro Tip: Put the top up.

Yeah, those Andy Williams shows were pretty bad.

Notably absent: If it is raining hard enough for you to feel justified putting on your flashers because of how slow you have to drive, YOU are the road hazard and you should find the nearest exit. Get yourself onto the surface streets and let the rest of us keep pace on the highway.

Also note: a (big) rain presents the most dangerous road conditions at the beginning of the event - as oils and debris disperse across the road, before they are eventually washed away through gutters and drains. This phenomena is most evident the longer the dry spell before the rain.

I think small cars should go “Battle Bots” style and just be wedge shaped, so if a bigass truck/suv/landyacht hit it, they just gets launched off and flips over instead.

Your friends ain’t lying to you. All of these are good practices to follow when driving on wet roads.

You cannot. Terminal velocity of a human body is about 180 miles per hour.

It certainly doesn’t help that many people in these behemoths treat them like sports cars or smaller cars anyways. Listen linda or whoever I saw the other day in the big Tahoe, who’s forehead was barely visible above the steering wheel; You’re vehicle is too big to be making 30 point turns because you missed your turn
