I’ve never had to use the fix-a-flat / inflator can before on a flat tire. How much does it typically inflate the tire? Driveable or does one need to add a substantial amount of air with a portable compressor too?

Worth mentioning, but if you do see a nail or something in your tire, don’t pull it out right away. I was once driving home from a road trip with my wife and just happened to look down at one of my tires while we were loading up one morning at a hotel and saw a nail. Checked it with a gauge and I was a bit low, but…

Carry a spare. Like, go online, spend 30 minutes researching “space saver spare for 2022 Blastmobile.”. Click ‘buy’. Wait 1 week, and then throw it in the trunk, and then lay a packing blanket over it. Then realize you forgot to get a cheap scissor jack... Repeat.  2 years later... Remember it exists and fill it up.

You might want to mention that it’s important to inform the tire shop that you have used tire sealant on that formerly flat tire. If for no other reason than the tire technician can take care to prevent tragic consequences from unmounting that sealed tire.
